Thymol-based acaricide treatment used to eliminate varroa mites. Ideal for hives with low to moderate infestations. Treatment carried out in spring or autumn when there is no honey super. Each package contains two bags of five wafers (a total of 10). Once a bag is opened, all wafers must be used.
Thymovar is applied at the rate of ½ wafer for one nucleus, 1 wafer for a single brood chamber hive, or 2 wafers for a double brood chamber hive.
Instructions and protective gloves available upon request.
