Improvement - Nuclei production

DESCRIPTION

This practical workshop is aimed at beekeepers who have several years of experience in beekeeping and who wish to produce their own bees.

During the 3-hour training, the following elements will be covered:

• Methods for producing nuclei
• Content and strength of the nuclei
• Special needs of the nuclei
• Queen's Choice
• Time of nuclei production
• Necessary equipment (hives, double hives, feeders)
• Producing nuclei as a method of swarm management
• Merge two nuclei

INFORMATION

• The training takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at our educational apiary located in Lac-Saint-Charles, Quebec. The address will be communicated to you by email a few days beforehand.
  
• Price per person.
• You will receive an information document by email a few days before the training.
• Groups of 8 people maximum.
• In case of rain, the training will be postponed. You will be refunded if you cannot attend the new date.
• You must bring your own protective equipment (beekeeping veil required, beekeeping suit and gloves according to your comfort).
  

REFUND POLICY

• A full refund is possible up to 30 days before the practical training date
• A partial refund is possible (50%) if the cancellation is made between 14 and 30 days before the date of the practical training
• No refund is possible if requested less than 14 days before the start of the training.
